- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 March 2018Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseI am so impressed with this author. She writes in such a way that brings characters to life and makes them easy to relate to. Having been born and raised in the part of Africa where this story is set makes it all the more realistic. I struggled to put this book down till I got to the last page. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 October 2016Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseRefreshing read of romance set in Nigeria. The story line was intelligent and had enough twists to keep the reader engaged. It also addresses some of the ongoing debate about the liberties of single successful women in Nigeria. Would love to see more books from the author and I believe the book could easily be a best seller. Kudos to Amaka Azie!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 September 2016Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseI can not remember the last time I stayed up till 6am to read a novel. I was captivated from the start. There are not many novels with a Nigerian setting that have gripped my attention like this. Well done to the author. This is a great first book. I look forward to more books and more reading till dawn.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 December 2017Format: Kindle EditionA lovely second chance romance. Ikenna has gone from rags to riches, but has maintained his humility – this was a very appealing characteristic for him. Yet with all that he has accomplished he has not been able to get over his first love. I sigh with the sweetness of it. The sparks still fly between Adaora and Ikenna as their romantic adventure together continues after years of being apart.

Irresistible
Reminds me of my teenage years when all that mattered was the special someone in your life and how you never could spend enough time with this special someone.
Thanks Amaka for bringing to life true love.
A Must read, it would remind you of all the reasons for falling so madly in love the first time.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 September 2016Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseWhat a truly sweet read. It was a story of an innocent love blossoming into something more matured, intense and heartwarming. I enjoyed the storyline way too much. And Adaora's protective brothers made the story so real and rich. And the emotional connection between Ikenna and Adaora scaled every painful hurdle. A lovely story. I strongly recommend.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 September 2016Format: Kindle EditionVerified PurchaseUnashamedly a romantic novel, captivating from the very first chapter. Though fiction, well written, very beleivable and takes one through the journey of falling in love complete with all the emotions. Well done Amaka, I can't wait for the other books in the trilogy.
